I went on the hunt for the Aurora and a meteor or two but none made an appearance last night... So I decided to try out my cameras low ISO setting of 50 and a 30 minute exposure. While the lights from Strandhill are little blown out the affect from a single exposure are pretty cool.

A images from last month when I couldn't help but stop on the way home even though it was well past my bed time. It was a great view of Knocknarea from the Hungry Rock.

I had a great couple of hours in the RAF Museum in Cosford. 100s of aircraft are on display with huge amount of history behind them I could have spent the day in and out of each room. What made it even better that the museum was free and even the kids enjoyed it too!

I set out last month to capture some stars across Carrowmore and detoured to Culleenmore on the way home. Thankfully I did as I unexpectedly happened upon the Aurora... You can see the lights of Strandhill just behind Knocknarea

I eventually got to experience the Derreen Woods and all I can say it that it reminds me of a Disney Fairy tail. The blue just pops off the ground, you nearly expect a white rabbit to appear !
If you have a chance, go take the time out to see this beautiful display.

Knocknarea taken from Streamstown, Co Sligo in very wind conditions with new SRB 10 stop filter. The weather was very changeable...sunglasses, hat and raincoat were all used in the making of this photo LOL!

My second time covering the madness of Hell & Back in Temple house. This time around a had to cover the 2FM wall which is a 10 foot tall wall where team work is key. This pop off my screen when I first saw it. This would have been great for the portrait with out faces challenge... Let me know what do you think? J

Our little lady, Robyn, had to be tested for coeliac disease this week. While it wasn't the worst thing to be in hospital for it was quite nerve wracking for us all. We now have to wait for the results to come back...

We took a spin to Belleek Woods yesterday to get out of the house and get some fresh air. The walk was all kitted out for Halloween with ghosts and ghouls dotted around but we got more fun out of the dry leaves !
