Terri & Paul Wedding
Being a photographer at Hell & Back is not the first place I would have thought a wedding booking could come from… However in the case of Terri and Paul a chance meeting at the Temple House Event in October 2014 triggered a booking for their wedding. Terri was competing in the gruelling obstacle course in aid of Breast Cancer Research with the crew from NBCRI raising over €3,000.
On the morning of the wedding I met Terri in her home house, where I got to spend some time with her lovely family in their countryside surroundings of Tourlestrane. Terri’s parents were married on the same weekend and in the same Church 30 years before. Happy Anniversary to you both and to many more to come.
Terri’s granddad was chauffeur for the quick spin around the corner to St Mary’s Church, where Farther John conducted the ceremony to a full house. With Paul being a Clare man it was only fitting that the couple had a hurling guard of honour as they exited the church.
After the service we made our way to the reception in the beautiful surrounding of Castle Dargan in Ballygawley. Feehily’s Florist supplied some of the best flower displays I have seen at a wedding and in what I could only describe as art in the Coach House Lounge.
The weather was on our side all day so using the grounds was a must for the bridal photos. I do my best to take the couple away for as little time as possible so that they can enjoy the celebrations with family and friends and get the most from their big day.
Terri and Paul were a lovely couple to work with and it was a pleasure to be a part of your day. I hope you have a long and happy marriage.
